In short, this website will be about discussing Paleolithic Living and how PALEOlithic SOLutions (~PaleoSol~) can help you improve your health, fitness and well being. Believe it or not, there is much we can learn and many ways we can enhance our lives by emulating our distant relatives.

After being diagnosed as a diabetic, I began to research proper nutrition and it’s affect on our health and wellness. My research lead me from a relatively high carbohydrate/high inflammatory ADA diet to “The Primal Blueprint” or PB for short. The PB is a paleo style meal plan, which means it is essentially a low carbohydrate, gluten free, low dairy meal plan. BUT do NOT assume that a Primal Meal Plan is only for Diabetics… it is not. A low inflammatory meal plan such as a paleo/primal meal plan is BEST for EVERYONE!

After experiencing much success in “controlling” my diabetes with a “primal” meal plan (and lifestyle), I began researching all things “Paleo”.  Just a note, when I mention “paleo”… I am talking about Paleolithic. For example, when I discuss a Paleo Meal Plan, I am referring to a “typical” diet of the humans who lived during the paleolithic era. The Primal Blueprint is a paleo meal plan since it too is based on a meal plan from the paleolithic era, however there are differences. More important than their differences are their common elements, which are to eat meats (including beef, fish, poultry etc), eggs, nuts and low carb fruits and vegetables.

This website is “all about” researching and discussing Paleolithic “lifestyles” and how aspects of that lifestyle may improve and enrich our neolithic lives.
